Cambridge Schools Announces COVID-19 Reporting System
Cambridge City School District, in compliance with the Ohio Department of Health’s order dated September 3, 2020, has established a reporting call line for parents or guardians to report positive tests and/or cases of COVID-19. That number is (740) 435-1115.

The Health Department order is intended to prevent and minimize the spread of COVID-19 in Ohio and encourages parents or guardians of students and school staff who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 to notify the school as soon as possible and not later than 24 hours after receiving a confirmed diagnosis.

According to the order, a reporting system will facilitate timely contact tracing and prevent further transmission of COVID-19.
Cambridge Schools nurse and COVID-19 coordinator Jennifer Howell will monitor the call line and return messages. Per the order, the district will notify parents and guardians within 24 hours of learning of a positive test and communicate with the Guernsey County Health Department.

Cambridge City School District will continue to adhere to the orders mandated by our state government. Cambridge Schools have always provided a safe learning environment and a quality education for our students and we will continue to do that no matter the circumstances.
